As I was on my walk this morning I was reminded of these beautiful strong oak trees. Whenever I feel down, God seems to show me those trees and remind me of what it took to get them big and strong. I love how God expresses himself in nature. Thanks for looking.

Oh Kim, this is gorgeous as is your description! This is an amazing design! Stunning tree! I love trees! We lived in Louisiana for many years and they have the most incredible old trees with hanging moss. Some of my favorite trees are on the top of weather beaten Appalachian mountain ridge tops. They are low, bent and gnarled but they weather every storm!!! Thanks for playing in my CAS challenge!

Where have I been,Kim. I was just looking in your gallery and saw all the gorgeous cards I missed. This one went right into my favs. It is just stunning...if you took that photo I am just on the floor passed out over your talent. Your description is so perfect - nothing like nature to give us strength when we need it.

What is it about oak trees that catch our imagination and admiration? Your card is absolutely perfect. I love the placement of the image and the open space to the left spanned by the sentiment. Perfect design! My daughter brought an acorn home from the street where her grandmother lives and planted it as young children do right against the foundation of our house. I managed to move it a few years later and now it is a tall young red oak of 23 years. Your card is lovely!
