Hi ya'll. I made two more cards with the cuts from my first F4A248 quilt card. This one is the second. I wanted to show you the variety of cards you can make with just two solid and two dp cuts. Believe it or not, after making my third card (coming soon), I still have some pieces left to use on another card. This die is GREAT FUN to work with.
As I mentioned on my first card, it is time-consuming and a challenge for me to get each stitched cut pieced perfectly. It's also tough for me to get the frames cut perfectly. BUT I like the look and I hope nobody looks close enough to see the imperfections.
My late husband and I spent a fair amount of time in Amish and Mennonite country. I love quilts and at one time had a large antique quilt collection. When talking to these amazing quilt-makers, several told me it is their belief that a quilt cannot be perfect because only God can create something absolutely perfect. For that reason, they purposely stitch one piece that does not "belong." When I use this die I am keeping that in mind. Only thing is ... I don't have to put in a piece that doesn't "belong" because my frames and piecing aren't perfect to begin with. Heehee!
Happy Crafting and Thanks for looking!

This is so beautiful. I need to get a quilt die cut so I can make some quilt cards for my MIL. She is a beautiful quilter and would really love these cards.
