This is another tag for Loll's super fun blog event, Twelve Tags of Christmas. This is my second tag inspired by a Loll, Karen Dunbrook and Nancy Littrell's resist technique tags. I got muddled up watching Lolls video and reading Karens description after seeing Nancy's gorgeous day 9 tag. To cut a long story short I used glue instead of paint LOL.
On an aluminium sheet I squeezed some white pva glue straight out of a bottle (nozzle no longer works). I then scrunched up some cling wrap and dabbed I in the glue, then dab on foil to remove excess, then dabbed on cardstock. I allowed this to air dry.
Once bone dry I used a belnding tool and sponge to apply at random, Tattered Rose, Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick (all shades of pink), then I scrubbed in a bit of Spiced Marmalade (great orange colour - this really blends well over other colours). To finish off, I stencilled on some Barn Door (red). The edge was done with some walnut stain - I blobbed it a bit so I did a tiny bit of stencilling with it also.
Using a glue stick i attached the die, added a few stickles then went crazy with my Sharpie Paint pen.
Nanct, Loll and Karen neglected to say how much fun thses techniques are LOL.
Thank you for looking. Loll's fun event can be seen here .

LOVE the color choice on this one! AWESOME background...I have this die and it has never looked so beautiful! Genius use of your sharpie paint pen. Is it just called "White" or does it have a specific name? I would like to look for one. Does it take a longer time to dry and do you use your heat gun on it? I can just see the dazzle of the Stickles you added as well!

This one is spectacular, Susie! Before I read your description the first question in my head was "how'd she get all those dots out of a die cut!" Duh, senior moment! I love the mix of colors you used on that background, a blend I would not have thought to use! The hint of stencil looks fantastic on this too!
