This is my card for the HYCCT1423 challenge "Tissue? I Hardly Even Know You" - to use tissue paper in your card.
The patterned tissue paper came as packing in a box I received. I knew when I opened the box it would end up on a card!
I cut a piece a little larger than the layer I wanted on the card and crumpled it tightly several times. I laid it face down on my table and smoothed it out a bit. I cut a layer to size from scrap cs, sprayed it heavily with spray adhesive and placed it sticky side down on the tissue paper, pulling the excess to the back and taping it down. I turned it front side up and coated it with a layer of sparkle Mod Podge.
I repeated the process on another piece of tissue that wasn't crumpled up before hand to use for the popped up elements on the card. I roughly fussy cut around them and went around the edges with a mauve marker, then with a brown marker. There was still way too much sparkle, so I cut out the large brown heart and adhered it directly to the layer. I added a rhinestone to the flower center on the small brown heart.
As always, thanks for looking!

Yay for keeping fun printed tissue paper that you knew would end up on a card, JodyLynn! I love the texture you've got and the sparkly mod podge is so fun! Thanks for playing in my challenge, and congratulations on being a favorite this week.
