TLC506 Poinsettias
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: ckbythesea

I knew I had to give this technique a try as soon as I saw it. The poinsettia dies were used to make the raised pattern from the reverse side. I laid the paper on my white craft ink pad and applied very light pressure with my finger to get ink on the embossed shapes. It was very challenging to get a good pic of this, and my camera batteries were about dead! TFL!

Joan's challenge is here:

Lovely Christmas card, Carole, with the reverse side embossing. I like your idea of how you got the white onto your card...I sponged and your results are much better. I know the sprays gave it a wonderful shimmer IRL.

Your white ink looks like snow on the red poinsettias. Very pretty!
