This is for Lydia's challenge to use a favorite book for inspiration. I just had to choose this one because it was THE favorite book of my son when he was little. We even got to meet the author, Eric Carle, at a bookstore and got his autograph. I was nostaglic making this card for my now 21 yr. old son is married and secretly I'm hoping I'll be making another of these for a grandbaby someday! LOL

Super cute and an awesome representation of a great book. Eric Carle was a huge favorite around here too....Grouchy Ladybug, Walter the Baker, etc. Kids loved doing tissue collage pictures like his too.

Lee this is super cute and a bucket load of fun. I was a childcare worker for a while and this was the most universally loved book ever....I shamefully used it as a bribe.....eat your veggies or there will be NO hungry catipillar before nap time......

This is just too, too, cute. And what a wonderful story behind it. Great color choices in the caterpillar. So well done.

Lee, this is a classic with all small children. Love how you created the caterpillar.
