This is primarily for Birgit's MIX86 Faux Marble challenge, but I've also covered Robin's F4A challenge by adding two cardinals, and Cathy's stencilling challenge from yesterday.
This is a bit rough and ready but it's been a long tough week with a busy weekend ahead. The red door is wrong - I'll probably try to make it yellow too! The dark green I used initially was worse ;-).
Base - taped down the stencil and misted with homemade mister topped up liberally with Tumbled Glass re-inker to coordinate with the main panel. I stamped a snowflake in each hexagon, and edged it with a nearly-dead gold leafing pen. Added a sentiment.
Main panel: I made my faux marble as per Birgit's instructions, using light (90lb) watercolour paper, homemade mister and Tumbled Glass ink direct to paper. I added some white acrylic paint and a sprinkling of Flower Soft to the snowy foreground of the diecut. Diecut is edged with Stickles.

So very pretty. Love the gold edging, and the birdie's in the tree - and the background, and I think the red door brings your eye to the village. Great card, tfs

No! Please leave the red door! It's perfect, it gives you the 3rd red accent and balances that corner of the card!
Love this!
