 | | Between a big order of SU and a trip to Sweet n Sassy, I have tons of new stuff to try. These Flower Blocks stamps really intrigue me, so I've been experimenting. I used this one to try out the etching technique that was recently featured here on SCS. I first followed the tutorial and etched using Blackberry Bliss, leaving some white space. But the space looked too sharp so I filled it in with Hello Honey, still using the etching technique. My trial run assembly didn't have the embossing but I'm very happy that I decided to add it. I used just a touch of gold Stickles to accent the embossed flourishes. |
