First I masked off a square and then embossed some partial leaves, the text and the "splats". Then I blended inks till I liked how it looked, took off the mask, stamped the leaves, and sentiment. It always sounds so easy when you write just those few steps! Linking to WT495 (Autumn Leaves) and

Gorgeous colors and design Maura. I know how much work it is, even if it only is a few steps in your description Love that you've masked off the area to create a border --- perfect! Thanks so much for joining us at ATS&M. It would be great if you entered this into the Mixed Media Card Challenge too (Autumn Colors).

Oh I love this!!! STUNNING colors in the focal image, and those leaves are tremendous!!! Beautiful that you used a similar palette behind the card to frame it for the photo, brilliant!!! Going into my favorites, I can't wait to pull out this SU set that I've never played with--you've totally inspired me. I love, love, LOVE leaves and especially fall leaves!!! This is such a stunning card!!! I'm drooling!

Love the layers of leaves and especially the row on top - it adds a great line to the overall design. And I also am drawn to how you used a coordinating color to back your card for your photo.

This is so beautiful! I think I am going to have more favourites than normal to share on Sunday, this is one for sure. I love everything about it - the masking, the use of both white and the dark red for the leaves and the splashes, and the whole layout with the leaves drifting across on the diagonal.
