I finally got enough mo-jo back to finish this for the t-party. took me a couple days and thought of these girls hugging and thought I would try another attemp at paper piecing as many have done for this fun party, was s o fun. More work but fun, kinda like paper dolls. the blue gingham dress was easy, the other girl has like now 4 different outfits she can wear...lol. then tok me a couple more days to figure out what kind of background...but FINALLY came across the old scrap of wrapping paper and it worked so neat...just had to cut off the hunters and hound dogs...lol...left the rabbit and ducks.
Used this neat die-cut for the top looks a bit like a hanging thingy, but when added that to top...before measuring...lol...again silly me, know my sentiment wouldn't fit, so back to the drawing board for a different sentiment, saw this cute one on mr. google and just printed it out. But then found out out of black ink , so had to do it in a different color and that didnt quite work, so tried to go over it with a marker...hope its o.k....a fun way to send a hug for a fellow tickler across the miles, so it will be unexpected too...:0)...thanks for the visit...and to all....HUGS..:0)

O-M-Goodness!! This is adorable. What a lot of work into that paper piecing. The outfits are awesome and that background is just perfect for these best buds! I'd love to be on the receiving end of this one.

Into my favourites - this is just so adorable. I love using piecing for dresses - and you have done a fabulous job on those girls' outfits. Great background too, and I love the decorative border at the top. In theory I know what they are called because I spent a long time trying to find the sort I wanted online to finish off a piece of needlework - but I've forgotten! Lucky whoever is getting this, it's just sweet.
