This proves to me that freehand watercoloring will definitely not be my chosen method of watercolor!!! I think my bird looks like a "robin penquin"....but, hey, I tried and again, it is what it is. I have to admit I did laugh at myself!

I knew your inspiration too - so pat on the back for a marvellous watercolour. I am not so brave ... one day! Your colours are gorgeous and the verse is wonderful.

Vicky, first I think your bird is very well done.....one of the things I found about watercoloring from an inspiration piece. They are usually a picture made much larger than our cards, and it is hard to paint them in proportion of the card size. You keep painting freehand. tfs
