This was way out of my comfort zone! I like everything crisp and neat, and blackboards are notoriously dusty and messy. But, keeping with the theme, I used the negatives of PTI/One Liners Happy die and TL/sentiments as stencils with white poster paint for the sentiment. Stamped Heidi Grace/car and Heidi Swapp/# and arrows using StazOn White. I rubbed white chalk in different directions over the "blackboard" and framed with burlap. Nothing crisp and clean about this card design!

I'm with you on the "messy/dirty" look, Priscilla. You did an adorable card with the burlap frame and all the symbols and old car for your design focus.

For being a dusty and messy job, Priscilla you did a great job of keeping with the theme... love the burlap frame, the antique car and the stencil work... well done...I agree though about the dusty/messy part...

Love your burlap frame! And the selection you have chosen to stamp on your chalkboard is great - it really does look like something kids in a classroom would have doodled while the teacher was out.

CUTE idea! I didn't think to use the negative like a stencil. See - you are one smart cookie! I don't buy that this is out of your comfort zone, though, because you did one bang up job! Thanks for going Old School with me this week!
