I made another card for today's Inspiration challenge and Thursday's ways to use it challenge (Spritz or spray it)
Here is the water colour painting that inspired me original water color painting powder red
I just purchased the "Awash with flowers" stamp set today from a garage sale (stampin up = retired set) and the inspiration challenge was a perfect time to use it.
I stamped the outline of the flower with stazon jet black. Next I inked up the sold portion of the flower with red ink and spritzed the stamp with water and stamped it over the outlined flower. Stamped on the stem = using the stamp a ma jig . I added definition to the flower with darker inks and gold gel pen. Drew in the ground area and water coloured with basic grey. Placed the stencil over the flowers and sponged on soft sky and pretty in pink inks. Stamped on the sentiment. Matted with black and dp. Sewed around edges. Next I splattered some red, blue and black inks over the image. Applied liquid pearls to the flower.
This works for Friday's Free 4 all - F4A235 - one or two words only.
