Such lovely water color art for today's Inspiration Challenge! I also love the black/white prints she has. I combined two but I used a mustang image because I don't have a deer like THIS. I also added pink like This.
I stamped it with Versafine onto water color paper & used water soluble graphite, a couple of water brushes & to add the pink, I used a combination of Distress reinkers in spun sugar & tattered rose.
I die cut with an oval die, edged it w/ black & matted it on a larger oval of a peachy/pink designer paper. The rope corner was stamped, colored the same way and die cut w/ a large square. The black print & larger pink layer were also die cut. A multi tag punch was used to punch out the tag from a leftover piece of the colored water color paper & the greeting was stamped on top. A section of a fussy cut piece of the rope corner & a black mini brad were added w/ the tag.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, this is gorgeous. I would never have thought to use pink as the bkg color and it looks awesome. I love what you did with the rope...the fussy cut part on the tag looks great. Beautiful card.

Lovely! I really like the way you water coloured the shading around the rope corner and in the background of the stamped image. That image is beautiful and looks wonderful in black, white, and pink. Great take on the IC challenge. TFS

You have blown me AWAY with what you've done with this stamp! First, the DTGD, which was one of the finest works of art I've EVER seen! Then THIS! DANG! I want to be your grasshopper!!! Minus the picking up boiling pot with my forearms. And maybe all that running around and fighting, too. What do you say??? ;)
