CAS285 Melon Feathers

Poster: catluvr2

I cut strips of my colors and glued to white paper, then cut my feathers and sentiment. Added dots and "seeds" with black pen and placed on washi taped white CS. SB/feathers, MFT/button, TL/sentiment.

edit: I realized after the fact that I got carried away and this did NOT end up CAS!

What a great use of the challenge colors! I love the effect you got from cutting out the striped paper. Overall, it's a cheerful, vibrant card - TFS!

This is so creative...the feathers are fantastic. I just love the "seeds". Your terrific sense of design (eap layout and colors) really shows in this beauty. Fantastic job, my friend. First of my favs for this week.

What a gorgeous color combination on those feathers! It's the first thing that caught my eye! Your idea of piecing the paper before die cutting is fantastic and one I may just have to try! I also love the use of the washi on this! Love it!
