 | | Today Audrie & Nancy sent us to the esty shop Vintage Atmosphere. I had lunch Wed. at Miss Molly's Tea Room in Medina (OH) & when I saw this dinner plate I knew I had to use this unloved rose image. My tea was served in a rose teapot with matching cup & saucer. It was a no brainer!!
My DSP also fills Wendy's Friday F4A to use stripes & I fullfilled some Dirty challenges too.
I used Festive Berries, Peeled Paint & Gathering Twigs distress markers on an acrylic block & watercolored. I need someone to teach me how to shade a rose, but I think this does look ok. I added a bit of wink of Stella & a drop of glossy accents on the rose petals. This was my third try at coloring this flower today & I almost gave up!
Thanks for stopping by. |
