Spring Cleaning

My Spring cleaning title came to mind because years ago, people use to hang their quilts on the line and beat the dust out of them and then let them air....todays inspiration came from a site called, "Vintage atmosphere". I loved this site but zeroed in on all the quilts and chose this one for my inspiration... If you scroll down once, you will see the patch where I chose my colours from....I also took inspiration and cased Dana Joy aka mzdjoy card called Quackers the Duck shown here . I changed the banner to a clothes line and switched the girl for the duck...I also added the ribbon at the bottom instead of grass...

This is so charming and precious, Marie-Alice. Love the "quilty" doll and her quilt on the line has such dimension.....looks as it one touched it, one's finger would sink in.

How sweet! Great images and papers - this is so cute! Love the quilt on the line - wish people still did that as it was/is great way to spring clean. How cool you used water colors too - my fav coloring medium now. Hugz!
