I used a technique from an Online Card Class I'm taking to use sentiment stamps inside a mask - which I created for the leaf in For All Things using a post-it note and a craft knife.

When I looked at the thumbnail, I thought these were puzzle pieces; but when I opened it up and read your description, I realized it was leaves. Very clever card!
