| | I got my inspiration for my butterfly cut out card from a card I saw on Pinterest by a talented crafter, named Lindsay at http://lindsayamrhein.blogspot.ca/20...er-wishes.html. I decided to use a butterfly die, vs a snowflake. With my first or sample card I used a patterned background paper, and embossed the plain white cardstock. I wanted a more colourful background, so I created my own using a Crayola watercolour set and Tim HoltzÂ’s watercolour paper. I made three cards, one with the watercoloured background, and two using a white background and cutting the butterfly out of the watercoloured paper. I used the Large Exotic Butterfly die by Cheery Lynn, and various sentiment stamps. |
