This is my card for Julie's DTGD challenge. It was the perfect time to bring out this gorgeous woven paper which I received in a Christmas package, having admired it on Lorraine's cards.
I used a lot of DTP and sponging to create the background, with a little gesso too; then embossed it with Brick Wall, and stitched round the edges. Man, I had to be so careful not to tear it while I sewed it - even after half an hour it was still quite wet .
I stamped the leaves with IO Craquelure to give them a little texture, and the flowers are punched from BG What's Up. I finished it off with a sentiment to add another card to my birthday stash.

What a beauty that bg is! I know it was a lot of steps, but so worth it!! Lovely card, flowers, basket!

Very lovely card. I like the way you think and how you use your materials. I had a similar card in my mind but was thinking too literally. You've inspired me.
