Well.............having only been to summer 4H camp once in my life, when I about 12, I can say it was not the most enjoyable experience, and camping in any shape or form is just my thing! But I did my best at coming up with something I think they probably do at some summer camps and that is roller skate and fly kites. My card base is Soft Sky. I rolled my wheel at the bottom using Momento Black. I then added my fence and grass. Stamped my little girl and the kite in Momento Black and colored with my spectrum noirs. I then fussy cut them both and popped them up. My little clouds were added last. This is my best attempt at "TRYING" to make a Susie Australia scene card. It's nowhere's near as intricate as hers are or as gorgeous. She is just the QUEEN of scene cards IMO!!!! We are tickling each other this week, so whoever gets it, I hope you like it and don't skin your knees falling down while roller skating holding a kite TFL ladies.

She's a sweetie, Mary, and you created a lovely scene for her. Skating on the road is probably a lot safer than for us who used to skate along our downstairs hall - which had steps at one end. The balloon with the message is sweet.

Oh my friend this is a WONDERFUL scene. Neat job on the road and LOVE her cute outfit. Never thought of it but roller skating and flying a kite at the same time would be so much easier and fun....hmmm....might have to try that one out. I have done both on separate occasions, but a looooonnngg time ago...lol...might need extra thick falling padding...hehe...well done...TFS. I had forgotten I went to 4h camp years ago too, not my fav. one but fun...:0)
Had to edit to say I just noticed the cute Hello on the kite...sweet idea...great idea...:0)

LOL I went to a Southern Baptist camp for 2 summers in a row at age 10 and 11. I HATED camp and the girls in my bunk were the nastiest little girls I've ever known!!! I'm NOT an outdoors girl, anyway. I'm with you...on the skates. And from there, into the A/C! I love this card!!

Mary, this is the sweetest little girl flying her kite and roller skating. You did an awesome Susie Australia card. I know if I tried doing these two things at the same time I would be on my tush more than my feet. Thanks for taking part in the challenge. TFS

WooHoo Mary what a fantastic card. The minute I saw it in the gallery I shoved my ipad under DH's nose and said ooohhh look, then I read your words. I LOVE your little scene, it is brilliant my friend. I am smiling from ear to ear and I know the lucky recipient will be grinning too.
