This was a fun card to make, especially since I had an idea that in my head that ever so SLOWLY came together! Started with my violets that I wanted popped on a label over the Amazing Grace hymn background. The fun was getting the background across the inside width, so I cut the inside of the Radiant Rectangle die and used it as a mask and then covered half and stamped each side of the hymn to “stretch” it across. (This is my second try – LOL!) Then I got to use the new Pennant Swag die and sponged it. The ODBD Shining the Light challenge is to use stencils or sponge. Thanks for taking a “look-see,” and I hope you like it!

Neat work getting the hymn on both sides of the violet panel! The little banner die could have been made to go with the Radiant Rectangles, they go so perfectly together.

So very beautiful and graceful!! Very clever the way you stretched your hymn to fit into that die. Where there is a will, there's a way. And the pennant banner is just perfect for this. Your idea came out fantastic even if it was slow. Hugs!

Oh Cheryl, this is LOVELY!!! First, I noticed you'd used the Amazing Grace music, which I love. Then those beautifully colored flowers--nice shading! I like how you've pulled in more pink in the banner and around the frame. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who has to mull things over, and sometimes cards don't come together nearly fast enough for my taste--hmmm.
This card just blew me away!!! I am hoping to try a challenge, have never done those. But timing is an issue because of chronic health issues, I'd need to work faster and that too would be good for me. Just need to dip in my toe into the water and TRY!!!
In the meantime, how I love this card, Cheryl!!! It's already in my favorites!!!
Blessings to you, you have already been such a blessing to me and such a warm encouragement--thank you!!!

So utterly amazed at the intricacy of the dies nowadays!! This is so stunning, Cheryl. I LOVE the beautiful stencilled banner, too. And, how we have benefitted from that AMAZING grace. Yes, this lil beauty is all grace, from lacy graceful design and florals, to soft graceful peachy tones and words of absolute wonder and grace. This has it all, Cheryl. From your heart right to paper, and oh what paper it is!
