This was a fun card to make, especially since I had an idea that in my head that ever so SLOWLY came together! Started with my violets that I wanted popped on a label over the Amazing Grace hymn background. The fun was getting the background across the inside width, so I cut the inside of the Radiant Rectangle die and used it as a mask and then covered half and stamped each side of the hymn to “stretch” it across. (This is my second try – LOL!) Then I got to use the new Pennant Swag die and sponged it. The ODBD Shining the Light challenge is to use stencils or sponge. Thanks for taking a “look-see,” and I hope you like it!

When I have a minute, I love to take a "relaxing stroll through your garden of gorgeous cards". I think there is one of every flower. Each time another beauty catches my eye. I was missing my mom today, even though she passed 17 years ago when my boys were babies, so this card really spoke to me. My mom always had a white iron flower cart in front of the kitchen window with her wonderful collection of african violets. The stunning white die cut bg reminds me of the cart and the flowers look so real with your fabulous coloring. What a pleasure to look at.
