Hello everyone,
I started this last night but finished this morning after getting distracted by a blunder (don't ask).
This is from probably a years worth of tried and failed? or just discarded backgrounds. Anything from sponging paint, Gelli padding, and painting with masking. I added Mizuhiki Cord with Red Line tape and sewed over the ends. Added a bit of Magic Mesh and a black silhouette flower die then sewed zig-zag style around each piece (I actually did that BEFORE the flower die cut was put on).
I stamped each piece first...forgot that step. That is why there are so many stamps listed...I have 4 large plastic drawers full of Eclectic type stamps.
Thanks for looking!

Whenever I quickly check the gallery, there is another gorgeous card by you that catches my eye. This would be do pretty hanging on the wall. What a creative, beautiful card. Love the colors.

Wowza, this is a beauty, Robin. I just love the contrast of the black against your bright background patches. And what a clever idea to stitch over the ends of the Mizuhiki cord. Even with red-liner tape I'm always worried about mine coming off. Since I don't keep it straight, it always wants to curl up again, and since I've had it for so long now, it's well set in its curls, LOL.
Into my favourites with this one .

Brilliant use of your scraps..the colors go together so well and the stamped images are wonderful for your patchwork. I really like the swirly, leafy die cut on top...great element to add! Super card Robin!
