Since one of my fave summertime foods is watermelon, I knew I wanted to try my hand at a melon shaped card after seeing inspiration on Pinterest! I used the 3 largest stitched circle dies and folded each circle in half. I punched the "bite" using a scallop circle punch. The seeds were created by punching the smallest heart shape, then rounding off the edges a bit. A quick little banner sentiment and this was a quick and easy card to create!

Love it! The stitched circle die cuts add fun detail to your melon slice, as do the carefully placed seeds. And the banner sentiment is the perfect way to add a greeting without messing up the design. Totally wonderful summery card! TFS

Adorable, Wanda. I read somewhere that if you put a slice of watermelon out, hummingbirds will come to take a drink. So, if after you finish with most of yours, you could try that (if you have any left, that is!!)
