For this week's crayon ways-to-use-it challenge. I was surprised to discover-- Except for my collectors' tin of a gazillion barely-been-used and hoarded crayolas, I have NO wax crayons! Certainly not suitable for melting. I think that when I retired, I bequeathed the classroom collection to my replacement. I did keep my erasables, however, and use them from time to time. I figured to use them for a rubbing over a die cut. You can see the failures under the card... I gave up on that idea and just did a rubbing over burlap, layered under the die cut.
This card uses the warm colors plus brown from this week's color challenge and the current mft sketch (stretched-- for the layout).

oooh I just picked up some oil based water activated crayons but, Im thinking since they are a crayon shape they dont have to be wax to play... I love the colors and textures of this one Brenda
