This is for today's Sc492. When I saw the layout, it spoke nautical to me, why? Your guess is as good as mine - lol.
I had just bought some burlap and I thought it would work well for the slanted panel. I ran it through the Xyron to help it lay flat on the card stock (a burlap sticker). I fussy cut the anchor. Rest is self-explanatory :-)
Thanks so much for taking a closer look :-). I appreciate it,

You fussy cut the anchor? I thought that was a charm!! Wow, your cutting skills and coloring skills are awesome!! Great card and you're illustrated this verse so beautifully!

Great minds DO think alike, Barb. Nautical for us both. You have created a terrific masculine card with the anchor theme and spiritual verse. The patch of burlap adds a wonderful textural interest.

Oh, Barbie, this is fabulous! I just love it and especially your fussy cutting! I'm a fussy cutter too and have great appreciation for the work! It was so worth it! Makes a fabulous guy card and a great sketch card for this week! And I especially love this Scripture verse! Hugs, sweet friend!
