For Lydia's Tan Lines VSN challenge. As soon as I read it, I knew I'd be making another card for Ky's recent MIX69 challenge which I had such fun with. I was going to be more adventurous and do less of a grid...but then I read the MMTPT306 Dreams Do Come True challenge. Billy Joel songs...Piano Man would have been easy, Uptown Girl... Honesty, not so much and several other ones DH suggested, not so much. Scenes from an Italian Restaurant!!! How could I pass up an opportunity to use the chef . So regular gridded tiles it is.
This is one of the stamps I keep a mask for with the set, so it was pretty quick to make, too. Stamped and masked the chef. Masked off the bottom with post-its. Used quilters tape to mark the grids. Scraped chalk pastels over, pounced them in and sprayed with fixative. Removed all the masking, drew the floor in, added some decor to a few tiles, printed and diecut the words from the song, and added a bit of colour with pencils. There's Glossy Accents on the wine bottle and cheese plate. And I even had the photo taken and edited within the hour time-frame!!

TeeHee! I did the same song, cause I love it. I figured everyone would do Piano Man, so I thought I'd be different. We went in opposite directions.......what fun!! I love your chef!!

Wish I had that chef...so fun! My DH & I actually went to Italy last fall, and it would be fun to stamp some scenes!
