Congratulations, Claudia, Lori, and Sue for being named to the CAS Summer Design Team. Thank you, Beverly, for today's CAS challenge of making cards that we could easily reproduce. Mine is all simple die cuts except for the sentiment.
Joan's TLC was to create a bg using border dies or punches to completely cover it. I used a chevron die which I kept moving over a sheet of white CS....being careful not to cut through to the ends....in other words, the die cutting stayed intact. On the backside, I glued a piece of computer paper to stabilize it. Then I cut the panel to the size I wanted. Much easier and quicker than my description. : )
Congratulations again, Summer Team. Looks like terrific things are headed our way!

Wonderful card Sallie, awesome job combining this challenges... keeping the chevron background white worked perfectly. I looked at that challenge this morning and couldn't even think how to make it all work together.... great job...

I've been sitting here staring at that background trying to figure out how you made it - THEN I read your details (thanks for sharing!). Such a visually interesting card - into my faves.

That background is totally awesome. Way to combine these two challenges.
