 | | Congrats to Viv, the newest Featured Stamper! She has such a wonderful, CAS style. Makes me wish CAS came easy to meÂ…but it doesnÂ’t. But I did my best to trim this down. I was totally inspired by THIS card. I love the splashes of color, the dandelions & the sequins, so I kept those. I used a different greeting, my dandelions are die cuts since I donÂ’t have an image like hers & I used an embossing folder to make my background. I also flipped it because my bigger white space was on the opposite side.
DonÂ’t know if youÂ’ve heard, but one of my DT mates & recent Dirty Dozen Alumni, Chris (aka Glowbug) broke her ankle last week & sheÂ’s had a few complications. So I made this to send to her. IÂ’m hoping this proverb will send her healing thoughts.
IÂ’ve really been enjoying all the Embossing Folder Stamping IÂ’ve been seeing, so I thought IÂ’d try it. Instead of inking & misting, I tried using some sprays. Thought IÂ’d skip a step and go straight for the spray stuff, lol. The sprays I used are very shimmery, but I just canÂ’t capture it w/ the camera. I spritzed the more solid half of the ef, not to cover, just here & there, then pressed my white card stock inside & rubbed. The sentiment was stamped, die cut dandelions & sequins added & done!
Congrats again, Viv, enjoy your week! It's just been posted on my blog: The Write Stuff |
