I created my own background for this layout. I wanted something with circles to mimic the bubbles my son was blowing, so I pulled out a piece of textured White Daisy cardstock, placed cut circles in four sizes on the paper, and brayered over the circles. I inked up the brayer with a pretty blue ink (Sky) but must have forgotten to clean the ink off my brayer last time I used it, because I ended up with another color (brown? green?) in the mix. Not what I intended, but I decided to work with it. The circles seemed too stark once I removed the masking circles, so I went over the whole page again with Sky ink to create a more muted feel. I let it dry overnight before adhering the circle overlay, title, and journaling envelope. I used the "Blue" sketch from VSBN and, after much thought, came up with a 4 word title. The circle overlay was cut using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge.
