I picked up this flower stencil at the convention last Thursday in the Tim Holtz booth. It's a Studio 490 stencil and I sponged it with Ranger Distress Inks: mustard seed, spiced marmalade, dried marigold, mowed lawn, forest moss.
I then used the Crafter's Workshop stencil and tea dye distress ink to add the background and doing my best to stay away from the flower with the sponge without masking off, and as you can see I didn't worry about going over the greens.
I embossed the double lines around the card front with the Scor-Pal.
The thanks sentiment is from Stampin Up and stamped with Memento - Tuxedo Black ink.
The envelope was also sponged and embossed with the double lines along the edge of the design.

Roxie, you used a wonderful stencil and your card is beautiful. Great colors! It's so special to have a lovely, matching envie to go with your card.

Fabulous card Roxie, it is always good to see you in the gallery. I noticed the bg stencil right away but didn't realize the flower was a stencil as well... very cool

Beautiful! I'm currently addicted to stencils - love the freedom they give to let you put patterns only where you want them, as opposed to an all over DP.
