This is for 4 challenges. The MIX67 was to reveal layers, so I glued down a book page with a pink layer over it and tore some of the top layer back..something new for me. The F4A220 was to rumple something and add spring colors, so the distresd edges are rumpled and the bright pink is for spring. The WT487 was to use your birthstone and mine is pearls for June. Finally, the teapot challenge was to bring flowers to the flower show. They were suposed to be bright, but when I went to the park on my lunch break to color in my image I realized that I forgot the copics. All I had was a black gel pen hiding on the bottom of my purse. Oh well, I had fun improvising and coloring everything black. TFL, Francie

Oh my, Francie, this is stunning. I have never done this torn/reveal technique and I love how it came out. I am definitely going to have to try it out. As for as forgetting your copics, I think your bright pink paper was all you needed to showcase your beautiful image. Beautiful card. I am faving for future inspiration :-)

Francis this is jaw dropping gorgeous, I love all the techniques you have used. Colouring with the black pen makes it look like an exotic zentangle work of art. Terrific card my friend.

WOW, the layers and the torn paper are fabulous on this! Distressing and tears were my favorites for scrapbooking and I've neglected to use them in cards! Kudos for doing FOUR whole challenges in one card!

Oh that reveal torn paper is stunning! The whole card is stunning and I think your black flowers are just beautiful black and white (but I would be so sad if I went to color and didn't have my "crayons") Have a great weekend!

I love the black and white focal image! And your torn paper gives your card such a lovely, vintage feel.

You really were multi-tasking on this one - I hope that doesn't mean that it was too frantic a week. I particularly like the torn paper layer - but your "forgot the Copics" black flower is so stunning, too.
