Having a little kitty in my first offering for the TPT challenge this week seemed to cause a lot of people to comment, and when I read Francie's hilarious write-up on her card about the doggy sofa, I remembered this under-used old stamp. So I brought along some more decor for MMTPT 300 A Place to Call our Own.
My sofa and carpet colours come from the 4th of Audrie's thumbs, but I also just loved these Print on Glass pieces of wall art. I couldn't fit a tea-related inspiring sentiment in the amount of wall space I had left, I couldn't even fit a teapot! But I could manage a cup ;-).
I used a double-sided adhesive sheet to stick my book page to the back of a piece of clear packaging, and stamped my image and sentiment on the front of the packaging, to give the glass look. I just used a black Sharpie for the frame.
Sofa and animals are pieced, the animals coloured with distress inks. Behind the window, inside the card, I stamped Lovely as a Tree and sponged some colour onto it. My oval mat is cut with Spellbinders Mega Ovals.
And hey - did you see the Dirty Dogs Bath Toys. Do you think if you washed my dog his spots would come off??

The rule of no pets on the sofa does not apply... lol Super cute scene Sabrina. So many great details, the rug, the window, the artwork. But it is your sweet and cuddly friends who steal my heart. Love your paper piecing and I do think it would be a fun way to wash the dog... but as per the spots.... I think NOT.. lol

So adorable, Sabrina. Homey little scene with all the animals waiting for tea time. Hope it comes soon...they look a little concerned. : ) Darling DPs for your interior decoration and even an early spring scene outside the window.

When I saw your card beside mine in the gallery I thought "oh good, I'm not the only one late this week even Sabrina is" That was before I went through the gallery and discovered this is your second card. Now I feel doubly bad. I love the dog sofa and I just know my Kodi will get along well with all the other pups.
