 | | I was making my quota of 4 Christmas cards for April, using a new die. Since it only arrived this week I wasn't going to submit it for the WT challenge (Sprng Means NEW Beginnings), but as I was trying to work out how to make a CAS card to showcase my quilted flake, I remembered a so-far unused Memory Box die that I bought just after Christmas, so it was too late for last year's cards. That's definitely more than a month old!
Stamped the sentiment, embossed the base, and added a gold border with a pen. Added the little holly leaves and berries either side of the sentiment.
For the quilt block I cut it four times - once from matt gold, once from shimmer paper and once from Bazzill. I didn't really like how flat the Bazzill looked beside the shimmer paper, so I misted it with some homemade mister and it looked much better. Bling in the centre, and at each corner of the card. Quilt block popped up on foam. |
