Please excuse the poor picture, but here is my card for the TLC472 challenge "Rainbows Before Gold" - to choose a stamp and make it into a Rainbow Masterpiece. This technique requires you to use the same stamp, stamping it multiple times using different colored inks. This gives the rainbow effect.
After stamping the flower images, I filled them in using matching Stardust pens. The piece was cut to size and adhered to the purple layer, which had been die cut with the sentiment die. This piece was attached to the card base and the centers of the letters glued in place. To make this process a little easier I left them in the die until I needed each piece. Much easier to keep up with that way! The small butterflies were punched with a MS punch and placed on the card with rolled glue dots for dimension. There are tiny purple glitter dots in the center of each scallop and butterfly. This will be for a friend whose favorite color is purple.
As always, thanks for looking!
