A huge thank you to Sabrina (Cook22). I never knew where the edit key was...or that there even was one. Several of my cards "jump" right off my computer into cyberspace before I am done writing. This was going to be a simple floral digi colored in distress inks and mounted white on white (think Biggan here). After I colored the flower it looked so.....WHITE that I had to add a touch of blue bkg. I colored the flower with my versa fine pen and heat embossed in clear (never tried this before). I was having so much fun with the resist technique that the "touch of blue" became darker and the script stamp from tbe SU Fall Foliage showed up in green - stamped it twice to get a more rectangle shape. I can't look at this set without using the splatter stamp and before long...not a drop of white left. I covered the wood ef with SU old olive and dry embossed on a lighter shade of green. - now that I can read how you made this, it's so interesting to see that you used an embossing resist on the flowers. I still think it's beautiful - very watercolour-like. When DH and I worked for a company that imported and distributed fine-art supplies we quite often used to get invites to gallery openings, and my favourite was always the watercolour society one.
I love the red bleeding hearts against the blue.

WOW on your coloring! The foliage looks REAL! I love that somehow you got the splatter to look like raindrops! What a fabulous creation and awesome layers!
