thanks for your comment! yes, i versamarked the tulips, but then i used clear embossing powder on them. then i used the sponge daubers to sponge ink around them - you could use chalk, too, but I wanted a bit stronger color than I could get from the chalk. then you can buff off the tulips (i just use a paper towel) if there is any ink residue on top of them...

This is great looking. Thans for sharing the technique. It is going into my favorites. Looks great for Easter, and I am thinking it would also be a good card for sympathy or thinking of you. TFS
