This week is Tickle Week over at Teapot Tuesday challenge. The challenge was to include a lighthouse in our creation. I live very near a lighthouse which I hike past often. I have painted and photographed this spot in every type of weather condition and situation.
Super easy, I just stamped, coloured, and added a spot of glitter to the whitecaps. The only mishap which really annoyed me was everything was coloured to my satisfaction when I decided to add a few yellow lines from the lighthouse and my yellow copic pen belched out this huge blob of ink. I had to even it out by matching the blob evenly all around the beacon. I wish I had left it alone as I hate the intense yellow spotlight. I was going to try to bleach it out but knowing my luck it would go brown or something equally horrible.

I fixed your keyword, Elizabeth - it just said 27, and I knew I'd seen you post on the challenge thread that you'd uploaded a card, so I went looking when I couldn't find it in the gallery. From here your accidental light doesn't look too bright at all - it's a perfect echo of the colours in the clouds - which are just glorious. DH spotted this one and is very impressed with your colouring ;-). It's a beautiful one-layer card - no mailing problems with this one!
I love those stamps, too; I once saved several on eBay till I told myself that I already had three lighthouses and really didn't need another one.

Elizabeth this is pure perfection on paper. I could sit an look at this for ages, and I have saved it to My Favs so I can go back anytime I like. It was the strong yellow beacon that drew me to your card in the gallery. Everything about this is absolutely beautiful and the kind of card I aspire to. Beautiful!!!

Perfect image, beautiful watercoloring!! I love the sentiment and if you hadn't said anything about the yellow I would have thought it was the beacon of shining light! No mistakes here!!
Thanks for your helpful hint on making a perfect square frame Elizabeth, I appreciate it!
