This this week's Teapot Tuesday, Sabrina asked us to use lighthouses. Because the need for a lighthouse image comes up occasionally, I thought I'd purchased a digi, but I couldn't find anything in my digi files. The only lighhouse stamp I could find is from an old SU set, and it actually includes a sentiment that I had to trim off.
I happen to have a strip of the Post Office's New England Coastal Lighthouses series of stamps sitting on my desk, so I used them as the inspiration for the coloring. (I'll try to remember to use the appropriate stamp when this goes out to my Tickle partner).
I also tried tying a couple different knots but I'm not sure if they look that different.

Oh Sandy, I really like the way you've coloured them so differently. I love the sunset sky in the one on the right.I had to look carefully to be sure it was the same stamp twice! Gingham and twine seem to be popular this week too.
How fun that you had a set of postage stamps to guide you in your colouring. I'm never sure how to colour mine.
