WooHoo I managed this weeks MM challenge - you should see the trail of destruction I left on my desk trying last weks challenge....I think hot glue guns should be banned!!
I used 6 gelatos in the order they were in the box - I scribbled back and forward in strips, barely overlapping each colour. I did NOT blend with my finger or sponge, I went straight in and swirled a scrunched up baby wipe over the entire card.
I stamped a tree but I think maybe the cardstock hadn't dried enough as the black tree looked more like a shadow, so I went with that an added a die cut tree.
In real life the colours are very rich and dramatic against the black. I had heaps of fun making this (and I finally used my gelatos), thank you for looking.

How lucky that the tree turned out light, it looks great as a shadow. The gelatoes made a beautiful bkg. The doodle boarder is so fun. Very pretty card.

The shadowed tree effect with the stamped tree and die-cut is fabulous against your super Gelatos background, Susie. The doodled border and black matting add extra drama.
Your comment on my card about your attempts with that ef made me giggle.

Susie, this looks fantastic in these warm, glowing colours and I like the shadow effect of the tree!! How appropriate is this title with all the bushfires raging around the country at the moment! So great to see that you are joining in more of the challenges so we get to see more of your talent!

Ha! Trail of Destruction. That completely describes my craft room. Your card is wonderful - the colors especially, but I love how you stamped and overlaid with a die.
