This is quite a mix media card. I used shoe polish and masking tape to make the branches for the flowers. I used shoe polish, white glue and white acrylic paint for the faux barn board. I really like how this card turned out. It was nice to think of warm things even though it is cold in my crafting room. I am entering this card in the Word Art Wednesday challenge.

Ooooh! I love your faux stuff! The masking tape branches are a great idea - I love the wrinkly texture there... and the crackle technique is one I have yet to try - that turned out so cool! Love how you use the neutrals to tone down your warm colors. Very cool - thanks for playing along!

Marilynn,
This is amazing. I like the faux barn board and the blossoms. I had some thin strips of brown paper bag that I twisted to make stems, and it worked beautifully. As usual you have a winner. Thank you for posting this outstanding project with us.

Hi MariLynn!! I LOVE your card!! I saw the one you made the other day but didn't have time that moment to comment. You are so creative with the flowers you make and the beautiful backgrounds. Your monarch butterflies look so real!! Gorgeous card!!
