Oh no! What happened to my roses? They used to be a warm coral pink. It might have something to do with the whopping 9 degrees outside! It's not as cold as some, but I wouldn't break out any suntan lotion!
Today's challenge was to make a card using warm or cool colors depending on our temp. outside. Obviously I went with cool. I colored my stamped rose with prisma water colors. I even added a touch of blue into the green for the leaves and stem. I'm not sure if the picture picked that up. I stamped a couple of extra roses and cut out the petals so I could have them falling. After everything was glued down I added some glitter glue to give it an icy look.
This was a fun and unique challenge! Thanks for taking a peek!

Geni, you surrendered in the most beautiful way. Love your image of the last roses of summer with the falling petals. The sparkle is like the killing frost. Beautiful framing too.

Your roses are still sparkling even though they're on the way out! Beautiful in blue and smart to have some falling! Really represents the cold weather~
