I started this page a couple months ago trying to figure out how I wanted to make my 2014 journal. I decided to use old 8.5x11 patterned paper (that I still like! LOL), fold 'em in half, and make small areas for journaling. When I'm done journaling, I'm adhering the pages back-to-back. I'll make the covers at the end of the year when I know how big the spine is.

just curious, do you do the journaling now ( after you take the photo) or are you waiting till the book is assembled to journal in it... ( I have not scrapped in years, I like how you arranged all the blocks on this layout) tfs!

Yes, Stacy, I'm journaling each night. That's why the journaling spots are small, so I can keep it up. I'm glad you like my page! I love the look of layered, mixed-media art journal pages, but they're hard for me to do, so I just make simple journal pages artfully.
