Today's way to use it is "That awesome feeling". We're to set crafting goals for 2014 and then get started on them! This is perfect timing for me because after spending last minute time dashing around making gifts for neighbors and friends at Christmas and even not being able to finish one special one, I decided to make these gifts earlier this year, and not leave them til the last minute. This set was made for a neighbor whose bd is coming up in early Feb. and I'm so excited to have it done!!! The bottle contains lavender Epson salts! I found a recipe on line for lavender water and thought that would make a great bath gift. I still want to make lavender soap to go with this, but at least I'm this far along!
My images are all new releases from ODBD... Apothecary Bottles, Lavender, Joy in a Jar and the matching dies. Older ODBD dies are also used and noted below.
Happy New Year to you all!
I am on the run as my dear MIL is in the process of going to the arms of Jesus, and we were told it would be today. I will try to be back later to view your beautiful galleries and leave you comments.

Oh Grace, this is such a beautiful set!! I love the way you poured your heart into this. I love the vintage flavor of this - it always has a way of warming my heart. Your neighbor is going to receive a very special gift.

Lovely and thoughtful gift featuring lavender in your designs as well as in the gifts themselves. I love spritzing lavender water on my pillow and sheets when I travel. Your neighbor will appreciate your thoughtfulness and your talents.

Oh, Grace....beautiful beyond words.
I am so sorry to hear of your mother-in-law. Mine is 92 and I dread the day, but will rejoice that she has arrived safely in heaven with the Lord. May your MIL glide smoothly into the arms of the Lord. There is a poem that is my fav to put in sympathy cards:
"Don't think of her as gone away, her journey's just begun.
Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing that we could know today,
How nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost....and she was loved so much!"
Prayers for all of you (and a big cyber hug too!)
