Joan's TLC challenge this week is Sparkle and Emboss.
This was a PERFECT challenge for me, since when I was experimenting with embossing techniques for the recent embossing resist WT challenge, I mixed up some of my white and clear EP. Ooops. So throwing some glitter in as well was a great way to try to use it up - thanks, Joan.
I thought, since my aim was to use up as much as possible of my mixed white and clear EP, that I'd go back and try Embedded Images again.
This is also for the current ODBD Double Embossing challenge, to use both wet and dry embossing OR the double embossing technique.
A2 base. BG Aspen Frost paper embossed with SU's Square Lattice ef. I added burlap ribbon and some printed ribbon across the top, with blue pearls. I tore the bottom edge (the lattice ef made for a wonderful irregular tearing!!) and added Stickles.
For the main panel, I stamped a small snowflake stamp all over the circle with Peacock Feathers, then covered it with Versamark and embossed with my mix of embossing powder and light blue glitter. I stamped the snowflake on top with Versamark, covered with Cobalt ep and heated it again. The Lacy Circle is just inked with Versamark and embossed with the Cobalt. I added a gem brad in the centre, and that's it...
I think I'm not the only one who has had trouble getting a good photo of the sparkle - I'll try again in daylight tomorrow.

Holy smokes! That's some grande embossing going on there! Love that sparkly shade of blue. Looks fantastic as a snowflake. I really like your torn edge. I forget to use that technique and it looks great with the stickles. TFS

Oh, Sabrina, it's beautiful! And I can see the sparkle!! You know that photos of cards never do them justice! They are so much prettier IRL, and I'm sure this is as well! So glad you've joined us again this week (and so quickly) for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge! Hugs!
