I saw on someone's blog where she and a friend had challenged each other to be inspired by the SU catalogue. She had made a card inspired by the one on Pg 27 of the catalogue. Well, of course this made me go check out the card on pg 27;) I then decided I wanted to try my hand at a card inspired by this same card. So this is my interpretation of it.
I did a couple of cards with only a variation in the embellishments.
I stumbled on this combo of Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate and Melon Mambo and totally fell in love with it.
In my DMC embroidery binders I found that #961 is a perfect match for Melon Mambo.
