Joyce's challenge over in the HYCCT forum today is to be inspired by subway art.
What!!! We don't have subways here ;-).
Along with the washi tape, this was the hardest challenge for me. I've looked on Pinterest, I've used Google Images and short of just downloading something printable I was STUCK.
And then just last night I decided to make my own printable, since I don't have remotely near enough sentiment stamps to make my own, and the chalkboard-style stamps I have are scripture and couldn't be used for HYCCT.
So thanks to GIMP I made my own piece of subway "art". Black base. Embossed and sanded aqua Core-dinations. I added some strips of gilded card which were a trimmed-off reject from my Strength of Steel card. Elizabeth Craft ladybirds, and some pink Liquid Pearls to finish it off.

Dang, girl! You got skills! I'm super impressed that you made your own printable, even moreso than if it was stamped, which would have also been super impressive. Love the colors and the cute bugs, too!

when I look at the word panel it gives me that school primer feeling and that is so classic and suits those sentiments a lot, I love the little bee addition to it too!
and the mix of fonts!
