 | | I made this card on Oct 9 but I forgot to add to my gallery and realized that oversight when I was packing my cards to mail. This was created for The Many Colors of Cancer (HYCCT1306) to choose one or more colors of cancer to use on a card. I chose Purple for Pancreatic Cancer because it is such an aggressive and deadly cancer because it is hard to detect in the early stages. I also added a Lavendar Bow for all cancer types. For the card, I cut flowers from Purple vellum paper that I had stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder and shaped the layers of the rose. I cut leaves from Green Vellum and some darker green flourishes in CS. I tore some K&CO Pattern Paper and embossed it with Darice EF Flower Frenzy for a layer on the card base. I added a layer of some mesh that I colored with Copics. Then attached the leaves, flourishes, and rose. Finished with the Lavendar bow. |
