 | | This is my card for KJ's HYCCT1320 challenge Kindness is Showing Support - to use the kissing technique.
I love this technique but never think to use it! I had all my stamps (and inks) pulled out to decide what I wanted to use. I kissed backgrounds, I kissed flowers... I had a kissing good time today! Finally settled on making a card with this beauty.
I inked up the flourish stamp with pink and the flowery stamp with black - and went WOW when I lifted the stamp from the paper. I trimmed a corner (got that idea from a card of Kathleen Lammie's. Thanks, Kathleen!), matted it with black, stamped the sentiment on the card base with VersaMark and heat embossed with black ep. Embellished the sentiment with Glitter Dots, masked the corner and mat with removable tape, and misted with Shimmer Spritz (because I wasn't smart enough to decide it needed it before I put it on the card, lol!). Fast and simple, but I really love it!
As always, thanks for looking! |
